Bayou Vista 5th Annual Town Festival dates are May 23rd through 27th, 2001.

Raffle tickets for the 16' Carolina Skiff, trailer and 25 HP Yamaha (along with 4 other prizes)
are being sold at
Bayou Vista City Hall, Mud 12 Office, Neptune Properties, Big Daddy's BBQ Grill
& in front of the E Z Mart on weekends. 
Drawing will be held after the Fishing Tournament
Sunday, May 27th about 4:30-5:00pm
at the Bayou Vista playground (by the pool).

Friday, May 25th BBQ Cook-off setup is at noon - 8:00 PM
Saturday, May 26th the BBQ Cook-off is all day , with music.
Judging for showmanship is at noon Saturday, 2:00 PM for ribs & 4:30 for brisket.
Trophies and cash prizes to be given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each event.

Saturday, May 26th from 7:30-9:30 am, Faith Community Church at Bayou Vista
is hosting a FREE pancake breakfast. Great cooks & friendly service.

The Community parade begins Saturday, May 26th,  10:00 am at Faith Community Church.
The parade will wind down Neptune drive & end at Neptune Properties where
cookies /lemonade will be served.

Entrants in the parade will consist of clowns, floats, boats, skaters,
bikes/trikes, firetrucks, golf carts, or whatever you can decorate that will roll or slide!

Sunday, May 27th FREE hotdogs will be served starting at 1:00 PM at the Bayou Vista Playground.
Awards will be given for the Fishing Tournament & Raffle tickets will be drawn.

All proceeds from these Town Festival events will go to buying mosquito spray & beautification of Bayou Vista.
